Athletics
St. Paul’s Lutheran School recognizes the importance of
extracurricular activities. These activities help the
child to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. They
assist the child in working with and for a team and most
importantly to learn sportsmanship. During the fall, 6th
– 8th graders are encouraged to participate in co-ed
soccer. The soccer program began in 2008 and the team
has been successful in both seasons, winning the
conference championships.
During the winter months, St. Paul’s offers basketball.
The boy’s basketball team is split into two squads, an A
and B team. 5th – 8th graders are welcome to try out for
the teams. The girl’s basketball team is open to all 5th
– 8th graders.
Spring is time for baseball. We participate in the
Kingsville Rec League and is open to students is grades
5 - 8. Girls are eligible to participate in this
program.
Drama
We enjoy a rich tradition in the dramatic arts at St.
Paul's Lutheran School. From its inception over fifty
years ago, students have been entertaining audiences
with stage presentations.
Our middle school offers a drama elective the third
quarter of each school year, culminating in a weekend
presentation of two performances. Productions in the
past have included Christian musicals, one-act plays, as
well as a dinner theater that is offered in alternating
years.
Our elementary students also get involved, annually
performing a musical in the spring of the year.
