Homework Policies

·    A homework slip for late homework will be filled out for an assignment that is either missing or incomplete.  If the assignment is not finished at the beginning of the class period, the assignment will be  considered late.

·    Late work must be turned in the next school day to receive partial credit.  Late papers will be marked down 10 % from the original grade.  For example, a 90% paper will receive an 80% the next day.

·    Late work that is not turned in the third day will be worth zero points.  I will not ask for late work.  It is the student’s responsibility to turn it in.

·    Major writing assignments (final copies) that are turned in late will be lowered 10 points per day.  These must be turned in no matter how late, or the student will receive an in-complete on that quarter’s report card.

·    A quiz or test with a 70% or lower and all writing rubrics must be signed and returned.

·   When anything is to be signed and returned, it will be stamped “Sign and Return” and filed in the student’s Friday Folder.  If it is not returned on the following Monday, a homework slip will be filled out.
